At Key Staff Development, we help teens build the confidence and practical skills they need to step into the working world. With over 30 years in HR, leadership, and coaching, our program blends real-world expertise with genuine care — so every young person feels supported, capable, and ready for what comes next.
Key Staff Development was created to give teens more than just advice — a guided path to confidence and job-readiness. With over 30 years of HR and leadership experience, our founder saw the struggles many young people face when stepping out of school and into the workplace. Too often, teens were left unsure of themselves, parents felt anxious, and the gap between education and employment kept growing. Key Staff Development was built to change that — offering practical skills, confidence coaching, and a supportive community that bridges the gap between school and the working world.
As a parent-focused program, we understand that true preparation goes beyond resumes and interview tips. It’s about building self-belief, communication skills, and resilience — while keeping parents informed and reassured along the way. Our team is committed to delivering programs with empathy, encouragement, and real-world expertise. By combining decades of HR knowledge with a caring approach, we help teens step into the workplace with confidence, while giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is ready for what comes next.

“The resume and interview practice paid off immediately. After finishing the program, my daughter landed her very first part-time job and felt so proud of herself.”
– Sarah, (Parent)
“Before this course, I had no idea how to talk about myself in interviews. Now I’ve got a resume, I know what to say, and I feel confident about getting a job.”
– Liam, (Student)
“My son never listens when I try to give him advice about work, but he clicked straight away with this program. The parent debrief was a bonus.”
– James, (Parent)
The program is designed for teens and young adults aged 15–23 who are preparing to enter the workforce. Whether it’s their first part-time job, an internship, or their first step into a career, we help them build the confidence and skills to succeed.
Over 4 weeks, your teen will join small online group sessions (max 10 participants) led by a coach with 30+ years of HR and leadership experience. They’ll practice real-world skills, complete simple activities like resumes and mock interviews, and get guidance they can use immediately.
By the end of the program, they’ll have more than just knowledge — they’ll have the confidence to walk into opportunities and handle challenges. They’ll leave with a polished resume, practical communication tools, a certificate of completion, and a stronger sense of direction.
We know parents want to stay informed without overwhelming their teen. That’s why we provide a short parent debrief or written report at the end of the program. You’ll know what your teen has learned, how they’ve grown, and how you can continue supporting them.
The 4-week group program is priced between $197–$297 per participant, making it affordable and accessible compared to private coaching. Optional 1:1 sessions are also available for families who’d like extra personalised support.
